Intermedia is a conference on audiovisual translation held at universities across Poland and coordinated by members of Intermedia AVT Research Group
Following the success of AVT events organised in Łódź in 2007, 2013, 2016, and in Poznań in 2017, the 5th International Conference on Audiovisual Translation INTERMEDIA will be held in Warsaw, Poland,
on 19-20 September 2019. It will be preceded by workshops on 18 September.

We will also host two multiplier events on interlingual live subtitling with respeaking in cooperation with ILSA Project.
The conference is supported by the Polish Association of Audiovisual Translators and the European Association for Studies in Screen Translation.
